Ladi Look Back 2013

As 2013 comes to an end, there is no better way to prepare for the new year than to look back at how far you have come in the past year. My style has surely evolved, and I have have taken risks this year that I would have never dreamed I would try (hello crop tops!). Next year I want to continue with this fashion fearlessness, but work more on creatively shopping my closet rather than buying something new, and using accessories to transform an outfit.

I was quite the hair chameleon in 2013, experimenting with wigs, weaves, and extensions.  A couple of weeks ago, I had some extra time on my hands so I decided to do Senegalese Twists on my own.  After 2 days, 10 packs of hair, and about 10 hours of work later, I transformed into the Nubian goddess you see in the pic above. I love the results, but next time I'm paying somebody! #aintnobodygottimeforthat !  Next year, I will be testing possible wedding hair styles (!!!!), and I think I'm going to bite the bullet and color my hair.  I have always adored Queen Latifah's honey blonde locks, and the blond curls in this pic are gorgeous!

Thank you all for reading and supporting the site this year, and I hope you all continue to rock with me in the '99 to the 2000 2014!

Have a Happy New Year!
