Boyfriend Jeans OOTD

Top: Asos (on sale!) / Jeans: Arizona (old) / Shoes: Aldo (on sale in brown!)  / Jewelry: NY&Co, JCPenney
I love the look of boyfriend jeans, but I was convinced it would not be flattering on me, and did not want to spend any money on anything that I didn't love. I found an old pair of jeans in my closet that were slightly too big (and one of the few pair of jeans that I own that are not skinnies) and decided to do a DIY.  They were a bit long so I cut them, rolled them up, and added a few small holes for a distressed feel.  This was a last minute decision before going out so I didn't get a chance to throw them in the wash to make the holes fray and become more noticeable, but the next time I wear them they should have the distressed look I was going for.  I like how this look came together, but I'm still not buying a pair of boyfriend jeans anytime soon.  For my body shape, I prefer the loose on top, fitted bottom silhouette better.

Do you like the boyfriend jeans trend? Would you buy (or DIY) a pair?
